HyperTribe Community Guidelines

 

Our mission is to give you access to some of the best resources to help with your artist development as a musician. To that end, we will be working hard to ensure that we align our actions with that purpose. These Community Guidelines should not only help you understand how to act within the community but also help you understand what to expect from others in this space.  

 

Safety

We expect all members to feel safe and not to feel harassed in any shape or form and those that we feel are harassing others or anything similar to cause distress we have the right to remove or block. 

No member should feel threatened. We will be monitoring all areas of the platform but we also know there are private one to one spaces to communicate with others.

Please be aware that we monitor on this platform so if you are to meet another member in public offline be aware that you check their details and that we cannot be liable for anything off this platform. 

We have a zero tolerance for abuse so if we find any comments or actions to be trolling or abusive we will remove and block users that cross community guideline rules. 

 

Be Helpful & Relevant 

This is a peer-to-peer community where we are facilitating a good knowledge base of answers. We expect all members to also do the same. Please only post answers to questions that you know are of use and where you feel comfortable to share. Your responses will be recorded and monitored. 

Respecting Others

All members should be respectful of each other. This means no bullying other members and a basic understanding that there will be others on the platform with a differentiating opinion. 

We have a no tolerance policy for the following: 

• Copyright or intellectual property violations 

• Illegal activity

• Any harassment or hateful conduct, including discrimination, hate speech, bullying, or targeted attacks

• Impersonating other users 

• Spam and scams

• Sexual content or nudity

• Any violent conduct: extreme violence, graphic violence, threats, gore, obscenities

• Harming others or acting maliciously

• Sharing of private information

• Linking policies: the ability (or lack thereof) of promoting products/services without disclosing the relationship with the brand

 

Promotion & Spamming

HyperTribe understands that users will need to promote themselves but it is requested that all users use the spaces provided. Please do not spam or drop your links to music or any activities in a spamming manner for promotional purposes. Those that do may be removed from the platform.
